Set up a local area network so my xbox 360 connects to my pc via ethernet cable-which in turn connects to the wireless router. Previously I had hard wired the 360 to the router with ethernet cable. At that time I had ports opened for the IP to allow for a better NAT. Now that the xbox is connected to the PC, the IP address is 192.168.0.100, but my Linksys WRT54G router only allows me to change the last 3 digits, and the 0 is a 1. How can I open these ports for the xbox, should I use the IP of the computer it is connected to? Thank you.

"I had ports opened for the IP to allow for a better NAT"
Say what? Thqat makes no sense, the NAT doesn't get better or worse by opening a port.
but the answer to your question is; Yes, you need to first open the port on the router to the PC's IP address that is acting as a host for the X-Box.
I'm assuming you are using ICS on the PC. Then you need to find out how to then forward the port from the PC to the X-Box. I don't use ICS, so I have no ideas on how that would be done.

Sorry, I should elaborate. Xbox 360 lets you test the network connection and one of the tests is for the NAT. It either comes up as open (good), moderate (okay), or strict (bad). Mine used to come up as moderate until I opened the ports, it then changed to open. Now it is at moderate and I am having trouble getting it back to open. I will try to open the ports using the IP address for the PC.
