opening ports on an SMC router

ok, i have an SMC router which i have had for about 4 months, and since i got it, i have been trying to open ports on it. I know how to get to the setup page, but i cant figure out how to open the ports. It gives me the choice to enter it in....Virtual server, Client filtering or Special Appz. i am not sure were to put it...i want to open port 21 for my FTP server. as well as some other ports for Gamespy Arcade. Any help with this would be apreciated.

Those port should be already open, here how you can tell,port scan you OWN COMPUTER. This website is really good, it shows what ports are open on your computer. Here is the link http://scan.sygate.com/quickscan.html

They may be blocked by your ISP which is fairly common.
