OpenDNS good?/bad?

Specs: Windows XP Pro SP3
I've just discovered

Is it worth the time to set up?
Is anyone here using OpenDNS?

It has my interest, but I'm running spyware blaster and Windows Defender as well as keeping updates . . .

On the other hand, it's nice to have a localized point that constantly accumulates info on 'bad' websites. . .

Still undecided :-/

It is pretty good, i am sure that webpages open slightly faster than using my ISP DNS, ok talking about a small difference but i am sure i can notice it, never had any problems with the servers either. If yuo sign up then there are a few features such as a content filter which you can set to filter various web sites types etc... i can't remember what else you get, maybe an ip forwarding service, i.e dynamic DNS??

Read my signature line for more ideas.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
