Only one VPN connection Server 2003

December 6, 2010 at 02:30:14
Specs: Windows 7

I have set up a vpn to windows server 2003.

The VPN connects fine for each client but for some reason, as soon as one client is connected, no others can connect and recieve a 720 error.

I have read a few posts on the interenet that suggest this could be an issue with the firewall only allowing one VPN connection through at a time.

Please could someone give me some advice on how to confirm if this is the issue or not or if I have something configured incorrectly.

About 5 minutes of googling lead me to another person with a similar issue. The respondant in that case pointed the person to the following:;en-us;810979

Go, give it a read. I realize the article pertains to dialup but you may find the answer in the "Resolution" portion of it regardless.

I am the captain of my soul.

Hi Curt,

Thanks for the response. That is not the actual error Im getting. I recieve 720 - A connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection.

As mentioned when only one user connects to the VPN it operates as required.

I have opened enough ports on the server and enabled the logins for dial in access.

Kind Regards
