I play Diablo II and love playing on-line, I cannot, however, host a game and have people join.
I believe that is due to the home network not allowing BattleNet to write to my computer, which is a client on our network. We use LynkSys 10/100 phoneline cards.
I tried making a change to the settings to fix this problem, but then I could not log on to BattleNet, and promply undid those changes!
Can anyone tell me how to change my settings to allow me to host on-line games?

I assume you are behind some kind of internet connection sharing ? in this case :-

You will need to map the port used by the Diablo game to the PC on the network that is hosting the server.

ie (for example)

if your diablo server ip is 192.192.1.1 and the Diblo port is 7788 (for example)you would need to map port 7788 to 192.168.1.1

Good Luck

Thank you very much for the reply, Colin. At least I have an idea where to start looking.
