One website (mine) will not load on AT&T

December 23, 2010 at 14:17:35
Specs: Windows 7, AMD Turion II Dual-Core 2.4ghz / 4gb RAM
My website has not been able to load for two days. I've had other friends check it, it loads fine for them. Traffic is coming in per usual. My web provider said they detected no problem and told me contact my ISP. My ISP said my connection was working fine and to contact my web provider. Other websites on this web server (Ipowerweb) work fine.

I have AT&T U-Verse, another friend who has AT&T internet also cannot not access the site.

Cleared cache, cookies, rebooted modem, restarted comp... no change.

Here is a tracert:

Tracing route to []
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 2 ms 10 ms home []
2 * * * Request timed out.
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 * * * Request timed out.
5 24 ms * *
6 21 ms 21 ms 21 ms
7 * * * Request timed out.
8 * * * Request timed out.
9 * * * Request timed out.
10 * * * Request timed out.
11 * * * Request timed out.
12 * * * Request timed out.

Thanks a lot.

I don't know what the problem is but I don't think it is in your computer. I am unable to access the site either with the IP or URL with IE, Firefox, or Opera. Also checked with IE on a different computer. My ISP is not AT & T.

ping and tracert to the IP work but both fail with the URL.

Thank you--- I had a friend report the same thing to me the other day too. I appreciate it! Time to harass my webhost.....

I'm having this same problem with my site,, at, which is also on the Ipower host server

Can't access using URL or IP (and other sites such as that share the IP)

It works for everyone else but not through my ATT DSL. This is also preventing me from receiving email (but not from other ipower accounts). ATT support claims they don't block any sites, and couldn't offer any help after an hour of chatting.

I opened a second ticket with Ipower. We'll see if they just blame it on ATT. :(

I'm glad (in shared suffering) that I'm not the only one having this problem. Let's hope this gets resolved soon...

*** Update 1/3 ***
Working for me, now.
