Comment:

I have a win 2k server set up to be an Internet router/ DHCP server/ Printer Server. The problem is that none of the other couputers on my network can access the server or browse to each other, but the server can access all of the others. I do NOT have the server set up as a DNS server. I would like to know how to fix this problem.

Thanks.

Is the server a Domain Controller? If so, you HAVE to setup DNS and your clients HAVE to use the DNS of the server or they will have problems.

I agree. You orbably need DNS. However, I don't understand the reason for using a PC as a router. I use a router for a router and a PC for a PC.

I have set up DNS, that did not work. I use the PC for a router because that is what I have, I can not afford a real router at theis time. I could use ICS, but it won't let me into the routing and remote access settings for this server now, so I can't delete the existing NAT routing scheme that is set up, which is unoperational.
