My friend wants to set his computer up with multiple monitors/keyboards, so that more than one person can use his one computer at the same time. He's pretty sure that it can be done and wants me to do it HA! Please help!

You could do it with each person controlling the same desktop/account, but I don't see how you can have each user logging in with their own account on the same computer simultaneously.
For example, if someone is on a computer and a 2nd person logs into the same computer via Remote desktop, the 1st person is automatically logged off. There may be some specialized software to do this, but I've never heard of it.

Ok, i made the assumption that you are referring to a Windows machine. The Windows server OSes do have Terminal Services, but AKAIK the clients must be running their own machine. There are true server client setups, but not with Windows that I am aware.

This actually can be done with Userful Desktop Multiplier, which is Linux software that allows up to 10 users to be logged on to a single computer, each with their own keyboard, mouse, and moditor. Userful also has an entire Linux OS for the same purpose. If you want more info on this, go to http://userful.com/
