Specs: Windows XP
HI, I am trying to setup a printer at my wifes work. She access there wireless internet and a program running wireless in the building. I want her to have her own printer without adding it to their network as a network printer. How do i do that? Do I need a print server? I want her to be able to print wireless to the printer and still have access to their internet and office program. She is using a Laptop around the office. Much thanks

does the printer have wireless capablity? if so follow the printers manual for wireless setup. If it doesn't have wireless than get one that does.

Wireless printers, by default, will look for an existing network to connect to and so will appear on the network. You can set a laptop and printer to work together on an 'ad-hoc' basis, but this can be a pain as it won't connect automatically each time you bring the laptop back. To be honest, the simplest option is a USB cable.
