I have built a new socket 939 system. The mobo has 2 ethernet ports. I also have verizon dsl. So i set up a new connection. I connect fine. When i try to browse the web, the time it takes is absolutely ridicolous! Maybe some sites load in 1 minute, others dont even load. I download files at speeds such as 15kbps. My dsl connection is supposed to be at 3.0mbps! I really dont know what to do. I tried plugging the ethernet cable into the other port, still same problem. I went into device manager and checked some properties of my lan port. There were bunch of settings in advancced section. I dont know what they mean. Can someone suggest anything?? There are settings as follows: checksum offload, flow control, iee802.1p support, jumbo frame payload size, low power state link speed, network, optimize for, segmentation offload, speed/duplex settings, wakeon land from poweroff. Each of those settigns can either be disabled or enabled. What should i do? thanks for any suggestions
