Hi can you help plz, i have been using my nvidia nforce controller for 18 months without a problem and had saved what i thought were the driver files ( NF4w2k666E.zip ). I reformatted my pc recently but cant get back online using my nvidia or marvell yukon nics, i use my NTLworld ambit modem via its usb to currently connect. I uninstalled all Nvidia drivers ran driver cleaner pro and reinstalled nforce driver(NF4w2k666E) selecting "NO" when asked whether i want to install nvidia firewall as i had major problems with this before. i selected to install ide SW drivers aswell, I tried changing duplex from auto to 100 half & 100 full duplex and disabled the power option to switch off save resources in power options but still nothing. Same with yukon NIC says connected in network properties with gateway ip etc I then lost my physical mac address and then forced it in bios using mac address i got from using my usb connection. At the moment in network options it says nvidia nforce connected but i can't ping anything in CMD or access websites using firefox or IE, and now i get this in CMD ipconfig /all Any ideas what it is im doing wrong? windows Xp Pro SP2 ntl broadband Picture of screenshot in attached image url, i pinged my gateway and got a reply but nothing for anything else? plz help :)
