I have an internet connection by cable. The download speeds were up to 70 kb/sec and I was able to use many download managers such as Download accelerator without any errors. Now since one week when ever I am using any download mangers I get a message that reads: "error= NTLM authentication required" and the download manager will not go further. I have given my user name and password correctly for the proxy as required by the download managers but still it does not get connected to the server. However, I am connected to the server and I am able to browse and I am able to download through windows download but at very slow speeds of 2-3 kb/sec.
I do not know how this change has occured suddenly. Please advise on how to rectify.
