what version of netware on the server?
running ipx/spx or tcp/ip?

sounds like the program has a client install on the local workstation. Is it a windows or dos program?

You have quite the challenge accessing a 17yr old program

OK so you have to run ipx/spx protocol. You need to confirm the frame type is set the same as the server [802.2. or 802.3]

Do you know what dos version this ran under? Odds are it has a client install. You will need to emulate the dos version

Instead you may wish to setup a virtual dos machine or a dual boot with dos so you can run the program

My CNA is on Novell Netware 3.x

I can't believe anybody is still actually using it anymore since that was pretty much the last non-GUI command line version released.

I'd love to help but it's been so long since I touched a Novell server I've pretty much forgotten all of it.

Suddenly I feel old!

Like Curt R mine is old also. Problem isn't with the server. Its with the client app.

We don't know what dos version it ran on. Remember how on Public you had all the different dos versions and you would set comspec to the one needed?

If we knew what the client needed and where the install for it resides we would be way ahead of the game.
