Hi,
I have 4 novell 3.12 servers working fine for more than 12 years. Lately, 2 of them have been locking up and we need to reboot them. After rebooting (sometimes) the VREPAIR command has to be done. Then they come up. It happens once or twice a month on each one. Any suggestions??? The following is the message on the screen when they abbend:Break at 00000001 because of INT 3 breakpoint
EAX = 001C00FF EBX = 00000000 ECX = 001CF838 EDX = 001CAF6C
ESI = 001CAFAC EDI = 000000FF EBP = 13B83DAC ESP = 13B83B54
EIP = 00000001 FLAGS = 00007246 ( PF 2F IF NT )
00000001 CC INT 3
#
Is there anything I could do on the command line # to find out what caused the problem??
Please let me know.
Thanks...
Jorge...

Using monitor you should be able to see what the nic is on for irq. Though int3 is usually a serial port.
Given the age it sounds like hardware failure is causing the driver to crash.
Post back what irqs are on what.

We just started getting the same errors on our Novell 3.12 servers. Have you found the culprit or the solution?
