Its funny this sunday it actually stay connected more than 6 hours, and now tonite it's back to its messing up every FRIGGIN' second, ok maybe I'm exaggerating a but only a little bit. I can't get this router to stay connected for more than 15 minutes. What's weird now, is that the router no longer reboots it just disconnects my computer when ever it wants to. Router stays connected, nothing changes with the LEDs but on my computer windows gives me the "cable disconnected" annoying alone but seconds later "cable connected!(something like this)" followed by another round of the two (yes that's four popups). This is what I've been dealing for the past hour or so.

How difficult would it be to crash this router?

Is there anything that can be done to prevent this?

Has anyone had similar problems with linksys modem/routers?

Has anyone fixed such problems?

Check the cable connected from your computer to the router. Make sure you have the correct drivers. Doesn't sound like a router problem to me but either the cable or your NIC.

Sorry
