Not printing through router

Asustek computer inc. / Wl 500g premium

Specs: Windows XP
My printer is enabled on my Asus router. I can access the internet and my USB hard drive through my router for all my PCs (wireless and wired. However, none of my PCs/NBs will print. It has printed before, but since a router reboot, all printing fails. I have deleted the TC/IP port I created, and created a new one. Everything seems to be as it should be. I am at a loss as what to try? Any suggestions most appreciated?

How about spelling out some equipment model numbers for the printer and router ( at least). Is this a network capable printer? Does the router have an inbuilt printserver or is the printer connected to one of the client PCs?

I've found in the past that after a reset of a router it was necessary to delete the original Printer listing from each client machine and "Add new printer" in order to re-establish correct printing paths

Apologies! The printer is an HP Photosmart 3110 series, which is network capable; the Router is an Asustec WL 500g Premium. The printer is connected directly to the router, as is an extra hard-drive. The printers have all been deleted from the PCs and recreated (as I thought had been indicated) through a new TC/IP port. When the router was originally set up, and I had problems, the technician I called in, showed me the steps. I followed them again this time, and succeeded in that the printer is enabled on the router (I can see it through the router home page -all my machines can access the web and the hard drive through the router. Does that give all the information you need? Hopefully, you are able to help - thanks!

Not sure where my previous reply went to, but here it is again just in case: I am using an Asus router WL 500g Premium, and my printer is a HP Photosmart 3100 series. The printer is hooked up to the USB port in the router. As previously explained, I have already (and many times) deleted both the printer and the port and started from scratch. But in the end, nothing prints. The printer is definitely enabled on the web-page It is definitely switched on. My NB has the correct driver (I hooked it up by cable to the printer just to make sure, and via cable, it prints fine), but back to the router and nothing.

Any help - much appreciated - I am at a total loss. Do you need any more information? All I can say is that it worked fine before the accidental reboot of the router.
