For some reason my network icon says not connected but I am able to surf. I did a repair on the network and it said connected but about 15 min later it will say not connected, but I can still get online. Another thing is that, I ran ipconfig just playing around and the connection specific DNS suffix says domain invalid, maybe that has something to do with it. BTW this computer is using a Linksys Wireless B card. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah when you install another network card in your machine (Linksys Wireless B card) you will have two network connections then.
Just check start > settings > network connections
You should see two or more connections in there Eg Local Area Connection, Local Area Connection2
Connect to wireless and one should be active and the other should be not. Both if set otherwise will have there icons on the bottom right corner(Next to the clock) one will have the x and one will be connected.
