Connecting to the Internet

I am just about ready ground zero my laptop. I cannot log on to the Internet via wireless router. I am able to see that my laptop is connected to the network but the laptop continually displays "Identifying" and that there is "No Internet". My Internet radio is no long being able to connect to the Internet but my other two tower computers have no problem. Also I tried using my Ethernet cable and it not do any better. Any suggestions before I reformat the harddrive and re-install VISTA/Windows 7?

Check Device Manager for any errors under "Network Adapters".
If you see any, re-install the relevant drivers.

You must only install drivers from your laptop manufacturer's website. Get them from anywhere else and they will either not work at all, or not work properly. That's because laptop drivers are custom-made for each laptop manufacturer and you can't get them from anywhere else.
