Specs: Windows Vista, 1 Gb
In my Institute intranet we have divided the network in various subnets. My subnet ip is 10.100.95.xx. I purchased a new internet connection and configured it with ccproxy software so that my friends can use it too. But only my subnet can access the internet the other subnets such as 10.100.94.xx and 93.xx cant't. Please Help!

You connect Networks with routers. If you have a subnet and you want people to talk to each other on each subnet you need to put a router between the subnets or setup routing tables on the workstations using the ROUTE command.

In my Institute...

Are you the admin of this network? If not, you had best talk to whoever is about doing this. Going ahead and adding routers between subnets without approval is a great way to get fired and charged criminally.

Even if you are the admin, you would need to run it by your boss for approval. There are repurcussions to crossing subnet bounderies and there may be very good reasons for not doing so like protecting sensitive data.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

I m able to communicate with the other subnet (94.xx,93.xx) if I m not using the internet (by just connecting through the Ethernet cable and using IP messenger and other LAN communication softwares). But when I m using this new internet connection (USB modem) and using the CCproxy software, people in my subnet (95.xx) are only able to use it.
