What web browser do you use? Check to make sure that it is NOT going through a proxy, if use a proxy is checked uncheck it. Open IE....Under "tools" "internet options"...then click the "connections tab"...goto "lan settings" near the bottom.......take out any checks marks there. close the browser. Next you can check the network wireless connection. Control panel.......Network Connections, right-click on the wireless connection, select "properties"....then high light "Internet Protocol tcp/ip, and click the "properties button". On the opening general tab, set the top and bottom "to obtain IP/DNS automatically". Some folks have a static number in this spot which sometimes works until settings most cases setting this to automatic for home networks is easiest. If you made changes, you should probably restart the computer, an try to get on-line. Did this Toshiba get on-line wirelessly before buying the new router? Does it get on line elsewhere fine, try the toshiba on another network to make sure the wireless card is not an issue? On the router does the wireless have security encryption that require you to put in a wep code or wireless pass phrase to get onto the routers wireless? Are you using the same type of encryption as the wireless (tkip/AES/Auto)? Try going to google in a web browser in case your home page is blank, if it says you are connected. Some places to start.

Did you get a valid ip address from your router?
Check this in a command prompt by typing:
ipconfig /all

Post the result.
