Not able to access website using na

Specs: Windows XP, WinXP SP3 / 1GB
Gurus'
I am able to ping and nslookup all websites, but when I try access the website using the name in any of the browser, it says "Internet cannot open the search page".
I am not b/h a Firewall, and I am using ISP to connect to outside world.

Is it cable or DSL? Is there a modem and a router? Check your DNS entries. I would use static IPs if you have a router.

did you install any parental control softwares.

Its a DSL, and has DHCP enabled. I cant assign static IP.
And there are no Parental Sws installed.
