i'm not to sure if you need a program to be running on the server as i have never had any trouble ghosting pc on the network here @ work.
but the only advice i can give you in copy the image to a spare partition on you're hard disk and specify to norton where it is then, or put a bland hard drive in and set it 2 slave and use that for the image.

We had a similar problem. Found out we did not have the "Enterprise" version of Ghost. Purchased it and problem solved.

You need boot disks for both master and slave machines.

The machine you're retrieving the image from needs to boot first. Go to TCP/IP after booting from boot disk (you made this with ghost hopefully) and set this machine to slave (I know it's counter intuitive but that's how it works). You'll see that an IP address is assigned to that machine write this down.

On the machine you want the image to copy to, boot from the boot disk and set the tcp/ip to Master. You'll be prompted for an IP address; input the address you wrote down from the slave machine.

Now you have access to the machine where the image file resides and follow the procedure to get image from file.

Important thing is to have the boot disks properly configured with dos or ndis drivers for the nic in the respective machines.

Good Luck!
