Comment: I have a dlink 624 wireless router and dlink 510 pci cards. I am running a program over the network(not internet) and 90% of the time its great, other times its really really slow, and other times it just dies. I was wondering if i got a different router would i be better off or would i just get that kind of instability from all wireless networks? Thanks

Reply: (edit)Why do you think its being wireless is the issue? What you describe sounds like interference from something like a wireless phone or other 2.4ghz device. What tests have you performed when it goes "it just dies"? Can you ping between pcs? Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Reply: (edit)i believe its quite possible our phones could do it they are 2.4, and i have a wireless camera system. When it "goes" i havent done much testing because all i have to do to get it working it reset the router, and it works fine again. And when it goes all 4 computers lose connection with the server, its never just one at a time.
