Ihave a working wireless network. Netgear router on host pc...dlink adpater on client pc. On client pc as an administrator the adapter starts up fine and connects fine. If any of my family ( non administrators)log on to windows they can not access the adapter , they just get the error message about Anio Can not open service control manager
This grey box message comes up about 5 times straight after each time its clicked off. Can anyone help please. D link just say update the drivers but they are fine and its the first thing I did when I got the adapter. I dont want to have to give all my children administrator rights to access the internet Thanks Bridiebee
No I am not using parental controls. The guest account acts the same way too...wont open service control manager...surely this is setting permissions? I have right clicked the actual d link program that has an icon on it and looked for sharing but the option isnt there. The d link icon that houses an icon service control is located on everyones desktop but they cant use it to get online...cant open service control manager. Its got me stumped. Bridiebee
