Specs: Windows XP
hi i installd Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit my network is not working its all plugd in it

its says thers homenet warks there nuthn my net shows a red x

and my active network is not coomn up i tryd evry theng i lookt stuff up on my laptop

and its 2 days i dont no wont to do i even lookt up vedos to

So, its a little confusing to read the above since I am not seeing what is in front of you.

it looks as though you are using an Ethernet connection. This would be plugged into the back of the computer.

my suggestion would be to delete and create a new internet connection.

Open the Connect to the Internet wizard
click Start button Picture of the Start button,
click Control Panel.

in the search box, type network, click Network and Sharing Center, click Set up a new connection or network, and then double-click Connect to the Internet. Then the steps in the wizard.

My guess would be that you need to install the Ethernet/Network drivers. You can download those from the Manufacturer's website.

My guess is, check the ethernet lan cable and whether it's plugged in correctly.
