Specs: Windows Vista, amd athion/2gb
I am running windows7 on a emachine amd athion,2gb,160 hdd. The problem started after my belkin router could not hook up to the internet. I spent several hours with them and finally got my pc to work. Now my wifes won't work. No cursor to move around with. The arrow for it shows on the scren but can't use it. Is this a windows problem or is it connected to the networking issue.

I guess, it's a windows problem, or more likely a mouse driver problem.
Sometimes it could happen, that the mouse driver gets not loaded correctly and the mouse is not functioning.
In that case, you have to reboot the machine.
Mostly, after a second bootup, the mouse works fine.
So if the machine starts up into windows, but no mouse is there, simply use ALT+F4. This should bring up a windows, where you can choose to restart the computer.
