Hey,

i recently reinstalled Windows XP from a complete reformatting. When I now use this fresh install, I cannot connect to the internet. When I go to Network connections, the Local Area Connection that I used is now gone, with only a 1394 Connection left - which dosent seem to send and recieve anything. I tried reinstalling the OS and setting up the network using the wizard. I'm on a three workstation network linked by a standard hub and connect to the internet using a slipstream ADSL modem. All the other computers in the network have a Local Area Connection in their Network connections... why dosent mine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Install your ethernet drivers. Right now you're only playing with a firewire port.
