I am having a very strange issue I can't figure out. I have a Netgear DGN 2000 ADSL Modem/Router. I have two PC's using wired connections into the router and two Laptops that are connected through wireless. Everything was working fine for several months. Then a couple of days ago PC 2 lost internet connection. All other machines are fine. I can ping all the other machines and move files through the workgroup but no Internet on PC 2 only. I replaced the NIC. No help. I then swapped out ethernet cables. No help. I moved ports. No help. I reset the DGN 2000 to factory defauklts and reconfigured. No help. I then bit the bullet and formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows. No help. I gave up and went to Fry's and got a new adsl modem/router. I connected everything and setup the modem. Now PC 2 is able to load web pages. I thought maybe I had run out of IP's so I hooked the Netgear back up and connected only PC 2 to the router. Web pages won't load. I would like to take the new modem/router back and get my money back but I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

I just connected PC 2 to a old netgear 8 port hub. I then connected a cable to the uplink port then to the modem/router and now PC 2 is loading web pages. It seems I just can't plug PC 2 directly into the modem/router. Any ideas?
