nimda and ntldr is missing

I am running a W2K server with terminal services running. I was recently attacked by the nimda virus. The server has taken a hard hit and is performing far below normal expectaions. I switched from application mode to remote administraiton mode and reinstalled service pack 2 and the newest version of explorer. After a rebooting the server I am getting the message "ntldr is missing. hit control+alt+delete"
I understand that something is wrong with the boot record. Unfortunately, I do not have a reliable tape backup and need to retrieve some data from the server. I have made sure that I did not have a disk in the server.
Sadly, I do not have a Emergency Repair Disk.
What can I do to correct this problem? Will Recovery Console fix my situation? Please help me get the server back up and running...

Brett, I just had to fix one of these.....the NIMDA removed all file permissions which keeps you from getting a successful reload. What I did was hook the hard drive up to a system running W2K Prof. and manually set the file permissions for the whole drive using the "Security" Tab, cleaned out the virus, then I put it back on the server and performed a successful reload. Good Luck!
