NIC CARD has no light on the LED

when i tried networking my 2 computers together using a crossover method... it wont work and the nic card on the client computer doesnt have a light on its led light....

and the other 2 nic card on my host computer has the light lighten on the nic card...

does this mean there is something wrong with the nic card on my client computer coz the light wont light up on the led...

Check to make sure your network card is installed properly. It may be as simple as reinstalling the drivers.

If that doesn't work, try cracking the case and reseating the nic.

Otherwise nics are cheap. By a new one.

Did you make your crossover cable? If you did, re-do it. If you didn't, make sure its not a patch cable.

thx guys for all the post.. i solved the problem like the guy said on the post maybe its broken and it was, so i got a new one and its working properly... k thx
