I finally got the triple pack from the cable company with phone tv and the internet. it didnt come routered for wireless and now i have the wii so i want to go online to buy new games but the usb cord i have that fit into the wii itself and the usb port didnt make the connection* probably because the cord is orignially for my hp printer* so now i know i need this specific lan cable but is it better that way alone with the internet box i juust got, or should i just get the wireless router too so that i can connect all three of my laptops at the same time i might want ot be running my wii?

As the Wii has wireless capabilities, the Wireless router is the best option......

Wireless sucks for gaming.....

I would get a router that has wireless capabilities. If the wii comes with a LAN interface (ie: RJ-45 connection) then I would use a cable to connect it to the network.
