I've got the exact same problem and unfortunately, no explanation for it. I've had my 614+ for over 2 years now and it was working great until about 4 months ago. Now my download is 200k-400k when going through the router....and >2M when connected directly to the modem. I have a LinkSys modem...what kind do you have??? I will keep you posted, but as cheap as routers are these days, I might just buy a new one.

Yes me too. Have a Dlink 614+. When bypassed. "The computer direct to modem." It gets 4 Mb/sec in my area. When going through the router it gets about 400 K/sec. Quite a difference. Hope they get a firmware change soon, or something. XP Pro. 3 Com PCI 2 Ghz AMD Dlink 614+ with a SB5100 Motorola Modem on Comcast Cable.
