Specs: Windows Vista, 3 gb
I just a bought a new laptop but i cannot get it to connect to my wireless n router. I believe the laptop is b/g compatible but that shouldnt affect it i dont think. My old laptop connects just fine but this one wont. According to the diagram it connects to the router but the router doesnt connect to the internet. Not sure what could be the issue here.

Run ipconfig /all from a command prompt and post the results. If your other machines are connecting to the net, the router is working.

Most laptops have a button on the keyboard that turns on the wireless adapter.

Look for this button, you will know its the right icon once you turn it on and your wireless adapter will show enable.
