I just got a new laptop for work and it works completely fine at the office but I'm having internet problems at home. I have wireless internet and it connects just fine, or so it says, but my actual connection seems very sporadic. Usually when I first connect it works ok but after a few minutes (could be 1 minute could be 20) it slows down and stops working. The connection still says it's fine but I'm no longer getting any data from the internet - when I look at my connection status it doesn't show I'm receiving anymore packets. If I repair the connection it usually starts working again, for a while before it stops again. It seems to be getting worse though, stops working sooner now and requires several repairs before it actually works again now. Obviously this is a massive pain! please help! I've even tried connecting a hardline into the wireless router and get the same thing too.
My old computer, and all my housemate's computers are having no issues.
