Hi, this just has been bugging me lately. I remember reading a year or so ago that Cisco was going to release a new version of the IOS and all of the commands are going to change to a more industry standardized command set. (Cisco is pretty proprietary otherwise.) Is my mind just making this up and maybe I dreamed it, or is this true? Do you know what version it is and when it is going to be released?

I believe the IOS version 12.3. They have added new commands, but most of the old commands remain the same.
