Joshua, If your cable is a cross cable type, you can proceed to plug into the NIC and start your network. But if it's a normal cable, you will need a switch/hub to connect them together which is placed as a junction for this 2 PC. Well,if you face a problem connecting them eventhough cable is fixed, do search through the previous posting, it has been discussed many times.Good luck.
