Hello!!!! I uninstall the ethernetcard on my XP computer and installed it back thinking that it will recover or at least detect all the settings I had there before. However, It didnt. I have a cable modem and cable rerouter. One computer has connection in the internet but my XP one doesnt(not anymore after I uninstall the ethernet grrrr.) I dont know how to do it coz someone did it for me and he is no were to be found. Please let me know what other info do you need on my situation and some basic troubleshooting i can do...

What you need to do is get the ethernet card XP drivers and install it to your Xp computer. You can get the drivers from : www.driversguide.com or you can search the internet for the drivers
