hi,

i am trying to network two computers. one has windows xp which will have the internet connection and the other computer will have windows 98. i want to network these two computers so that i could share files and allow the other computer to access the internet please i've beening trying so hard and nothing seems to happen any one can help me........ please

Same Problem,
Could You e-Mail Me Too.
Only one of my machines is an ME.
XP can see the ME but doesn't have administration rights.
I don't know how to change the rights on the ME machine. I set up the ME using the XP CD.
Set both up for no internet. All I need to do is tranfer files.

You can add me two, although i have suceeded with the internet connect, but filesharing will not work. Would be muchly appericated if you would be able to suggest any tips on what to do. tariestyle@msn.com

I Would appreciate an email on the same problem, my internet connection also drops out when i try to set up the network. Its a freeserve broadband connection on an external modem.
