Hi all,
My friend told me that I can link up two computers without having a hub, but simply buy another network card and make a computer to have 2 network cards. Because he has WinXP, he does not know how to configure it in win98. Does anyone know a website that shows how to install the network card? Or how to make it work? I know the gateway computer (plz correct me if I am wrong) must have one network card linking the high-speed modem and another linking the computer, does the "gateway" computer always have to stay on in order for the other computer to have internet access???
Thank you for answering the multiple questions on the above paragraph=) If you can suggest a site that will be great=)

Also go into Windows Help and look up "Internet Connection Sharing".
