I have a small home network using D-Link dsl 504 modem/router with 3 PC's connected, two running Win XP the other Win98se. The problem is how do I get the Win98se to share a printer that is connected to one of the other PC's

You would have to create an account on the XP PC that has the printer attached to it for the 98 PC. Use the exact same username and password to create the account that you use to log onto the 98 PC at bootup.
NOTE: You have to share the printer first.

Another idea would be to get a print server hub (around 39.00 to 59.00 us) and placed it directly into to your home network. Set an IP address for the print server hub and then each p.c. prints directly to the hub. This way you do not have to leave a p.c. on all the time to just have access to the printer.
