Subject: Networking with an usb adsl modem!
OS: XP
CPU/Ram: P4/512
Comment:

I want to network two computers together. On one I have a usb adsl modem installed with BT broadband. I have managed to network the computers to the extent that they can both see each other. However I haven't managed to share the internet connection. Is there a way to do this with a usb adsl modem? Or is there just no way and should just get a adsl router?

Thanks for any help in advance!

Hi
it shouldnt be a prob , the pc with the adsl link set up as the 'gateway' , and the other connects through it.
in win 98 it was called ic internet conection sharing xp does the same.

Use network set up wizard , it gives examples, , dont forget to set your 2nd pc ie browser to connect through lan not dial up.
