OK, here goes.
I've just got cable internet, it is running through my network card. Now, i want to share my internet connection with another computer, so i want to set up a network. Now, to do this i installed another network card on my computer, so far everything seems fine. But now, i try an actually set up the network (i've done all the physical cabling and all, using a hub), the software settings, i've done some networking before, and i just follwed the same steps as before, but neither computer can detect the network in any way.
here is some info that mite help: My two network cards are sharing the same IRQ number, the lights at the back of my second network card are NOT flashing, they r both (the 10 and 100 lights) constantly on.I am running win 98(not SE), and the comp i am trying to network with is runnin win95.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

So you have 2 network cards on one pc? Is your cable internet working on your first pc? Whats the problem again?
