Hello All
I am new to networking and would like to know the following, I have a bellsouth DSL connection (static ip)connected to a linksys 54rtg wireless router. I also have a wired connection to my pc. I would like to use my static ip to show a web page on my pc but not lose my wireless connection. If i connect my router directly to my linux box the webpage is viewable, if I add the router, the web page cannot be seen.
My web server is apache tomcat and it is listening to port 80
1. Is this possible? Can I have my wireless router working with the linux box connected to it and the static ip (from bellsouth) pointing to my linux box, while not lossing any wireless?

I'd set the modem to act as pass-through so that the external static ip is on the router wan port. Then on the lan side of the router nat with any ports you wish to translate to any lan computers. Access either lan or wan. Be sure your ISP will support port 80 any or web serving from home.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
