Hi the problem is ever since we have had a home network with the modem built in with router i cant download or even connect to programs such as winmx stuff like that i would like it if some one could remote assit me

do you have a IP set in the router for remote login?? do you ahve your machine setup for Remote desktop?? or are you truly looking to do the Remote assist (never used that just Remote desktop) i can login and take alook at your router if you like, but the only way i will be able to remote desktop is by doing either a Static router from your global IP to yoru NAT machine, or port forwarding on 3389 (remote desktop port) i will need Global IP/ whatever IP you setup the remote login on the router...and user and pass

no i dont have msn messenger...but i could put it on my home machine, i can't do it here at work cuz of our multiple firewalls and VLANS...shoot me an email i'll be off work in about an hour or 2 and i will email you back sayin when i have msn messenger and when a good time will be

what windows are you on at home

do you do alot of downloading like of torrent sites i do but i get slow speed i am on 1mb 115 k down 30 k up k

i dont really use torrent, i use limewire and emule :/ but my speeds are really good, i download off the web at an average at about 800k a sec. and i can get a bunch of downloads of emule / limewire going at teh same time and keep them all steady above 200 k, play games online, download off the web and surf w/ out lag, lol
