Comment:

Hi guys, I run two PCs at home, both XP-Pro and I am using internet sharing between them.
I just installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 on the machine that receives the shared internet from the other "server" PC and the conection died.
It shows the yellow triangle sign with an exclamation mark and "Limited or no connectivity" (on the recepient machine that is).

What should I do to to make the internet sharing work again?

Thanks!

Reply:

go to the command box,
type
ipconfig/flushdns
then, ipconfig/renew
see if that fixes it.
if not, go to google,
type in
winsockfix.exe
free download.

Thanks, i will try this if I have problems in future.
Meanwhile I somehow managed to fix the problem manually.
