sorry for posting again..

i need help with this

hello everyone and hapy new year,

i have a problem with my two home computers computers not commumicating with each other.

i am home networked(?) wireless

one desktop xpsp2 home
one laptop xpsp2 pro

i have done all the network settings correctly that i know of and when i go to my view workgroups from the desktop comp it says

"workgroups not accessable" you may not have permission to use this network resource"

when i go to view workgroup computers it shows only the laptop now. it did show the desktop as well when i last opened that folder??

i need some help please

Are both the machines on the same workgroup? To find this out, right click my computer and click the computer name tab. At the bottom it will show you the workgroup. Make sure both are set to the same thing. Post back with what you find out.
