I am planning to setup a home networking in my house for playing games, as well as surfing the web. I am getting DSL very soon. I greatly appreciate if someone could provide me with helpful & information source (eg. networking tutorial) for beginner like me.

I am an Electrician specializing in data,(fiber,cat5,etc...) equipment: cat5 cables with rj45 jacks (which is most common and affordable). network cards rj45s (maybe 3com)for all comps. DSL router(I like the Netgear, gives me a solid console feel)Netgear also have a model which have a 4 port switch in one,(no need for separate hub or switch) I deal with NT and 2000 for the most part, but I believe win95 and 98 have solid network capabilities also.
