Hi all, I am opening an internet cafe in about a months time, and am in the process of purchasing my cafe software out of the many to choose from.
I am using 10 client computers (p3's and p4's), and 1 server to control these 10 clients. I am having a bit of a problem though, in getting my clients to respond to my server, through the internet software.
I am using a Netgear FVS318 VPN 8port router, and a Netgear FS524 24 port switch currently, running through cat6 patch cables. I have setup my VPN router, as the manual states, and have access with the computers through the switch, however when I connect the cafe software, it does not recognize my server. It utilizes the servers IP, and then the clients are just 1 digit off, utilizing the VPN router. So I'm getting internet access and router access through the client computers when using my OS, but once I open the cafe sotware, they aren't responding to the server's IP.
I am thinking its because I am using a VPN router which is firewalled, and maybe its not letting my client computers talk with the server. The messages I am getting is that "server connection cannot be established". But if I open the server software on the client computer, and then simultaneously open the client software, it detects a server IP, and all is well.
I have tried this with 8 different cafe softwares, and all do and say the same things. I know it is just something I'm not doing correctly with the IP's, maybe if someone could kindly provide me with some assistance in setting up this cafe :)
Thanks!

Well, I got it working thanks to the tech support that made the software, and no thanks to anywone here.
