I currently have an XP PC hardwired to a linsys router. I have a Vista laptop that I use wirelessly via this same router. My network works fine on the laptop. I can also see all my shared folders on the PC. How do get the PC to be able to see the shared folders/files on the laptop? If I reverse the process that I did on the laptop to setup the network it will not work. thanks

Since you got it to work then we can assume a lot of it is good.

Check that your vista is sharing folders correctly and any firewalls have exception either on IPV4 or IPV6 to allow the lan computers to talk. I like to use the IP addss instead of names. In address line use \\ip address\share name instead of \\computer name\share name.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.
