Can a HP psc 1200 series copy/print/scan device attached via USB be shared on a network as a scanner? I can print to the device but it doesn't appear in the scanner selection list of my scanning software. The HP software is loaded on both PC's and the OCR scanning program is on the remote PC only, for now.

Summary: I've never heard of a scanner that was network capable. What most people do is connect their scanner physically to a PC....usually the one they work on the most....so that it's in the same location ...
